Mentor Commitment Statement | Please review and confirm the following Mentor Commitment Statement:
*
Please select at least one option.
I understand that the Guatemala Leadership & Language Exchange Program is a structured international youth program and that serving as a mentor is an active leadership and supervisory role, not a personal travel opportunity. I am prepared to support student safety, well-being, reflection, and adherence to program expectations throughout the experience, including supporting students from different schools, communities, and backgrounds whom I may not have previously worked with. I am prepared to participate in required orientation, onboarding, and other program meetings leading up to departure and to work collaboratively with fellow mentors, Partners of the Americas staff, local program partners, and other members of the program team. I confirm that I am available for the full program dates associated with the cohorts I ranked in this application, including both the Washington, D.C. and Guatemala portions of the program, and understand that final cohort placement will be determined based on program needs and availability.
